This endangered turtle was getting some TLC from the good folks at the Loggerhead Marinelife Centre. The Marinelife Cente is an ocean conservation organization and sea turtle hospital adjacent to Juno Beach, one of the most heavily nested sea turtle beaches in the world. I was so impressed by the passion and dedication of the people who work at the centre (thanks Deb!).
Our train left Chicago on Thursday evening -- we arrived in Washington DC on Friday afternoon. After dinner, we went for a stroll.
A couple of days ago, I got off the train in Chicago -- first stop on my way to Florida. (follow the link below for more... click on the photos to enlarge!)
Carmen closed at Vancouver Opera last night. What an amazing show! I'm glad to have made my opera debut with such a fantastic company. I'm posting some photos I took backstage.
I did a shoot with Alain Coulombe on Saturday.
Alain plays Zuniga in Carmen at Vancouver opera. He has an extraordinary voice. We exchange words at the top of Act II -- I always look forward to our scene. As I discovered, he's also a great guy to hang out with off stage. Follow the link for more photos.
