Our driver braved icy roads and treacherous mountain passages to take us to a countryside village called Chuandixia today.
Nestled in a valley flanked by picture perfect hills, the town has been beautifully preserved.
Traditional entrance to a courtyard.
Good looking stairs.
Billy goat.
Fruit.
Flag.
As it turns out, a movie was being shot in the village today.
An actor (shhh.. don't tell the production company... I wasn't supposed to take any photos.)
