I shot 2 weddings with Eric over at Urban Wedding last weekend. Gary and Sharlene got married on Saturday July 14th in a remarkable hybrid of Eastern and Western tradition.
The day began in a whirlwind of colour at a Sikh temple.
Sharlene and her mom.
After the ceremony, Gary had a shave.
And Sharlene changed.
The guys got changed too.
The guys in Coal Harbor.
The girls in Gastown.
Sharlene and Gary.
Drinks at the Granville Room, where Sharlene and Gary first met.
The reception was in Richmond.
Sharlene and Gary arrived fashionably late.
They lit a candle for those who couldn't be there.
Everyone hit the dance floor.

Fab. These photos are really, really great. I'm a good judge and I'm very critical and honest with people to the point of hurting their feelings and/or crushing their hopes. You take above average professional photos. Many of the above are things you see in magazines. You really get close to people with your photos, by capturing deep expression from each person and doing it with great colour, tone, composition, lighting, etc. This is above average for a wedding photographer. I see growth happening for the future. Just remember me when you're famous....
Cheers! Charles.
